    Quick smoke

Not enough time for large cigar but feel the urge?…. this cigar from Davidoff is perfect. Lovely ash and you can taste its notes. Very well made as all Davidoffs seem to be. I found myself desperately trying to hang on for more but there are 4 in the wonderful tin that it comes in!…. Do if you do have a bit more time

Pairs Exceptionally Well With Iced Coffee

Damned good cigar. I bought the Belicoso because I wanted to try the torpedo like head, figuring it would improve draw and taste, plus I'm bad when it comes to clipping the end of Coronas. it seems I wasn't wrong (though this was my first Davidoof so I have nothing to compare it to in their range). I like ro smoke my cigars with a nice (real, barista machine made) iced coffee, double shot filled with full cream milk. Boy was this combination a match made in heaven: the Belicoso popped the flavour of that iced coffee into a sheer explosion of delight for my tastebuds: when I swigged a mouthful of it straight after a draw I couldn't help but giggle like a school girl it was that good. I was so impressed that afterwards I savoured the taste rather than going to specifically brush my teeth as i usually would, trying to draw out more hints of that insanely good flavour: my wife demanded I order 4 more specifically for her. All over, I noticed hints of leather, and a somewhat buttery vanilla taste. Draw was good and consistent the whole length. i've heard it being described as a vanilla birthday cake, and I picked up subtleties of that suggested flavour, though not too sweet or off putting. Tried the Montecristo 5 - which is the same price and similar size - a few days after this and I think this Davidoff was on par, possibly even slightly better because of that iced coffee explosion. Definitely getting more

Cutting your cigar correctly is imperative to ensure that you have the ultimate experience enjoying your cigar. It is highly recommended that you use a purpose-built cigar cutter to cut the cap off the head of the cigar. Using instruments such as scissors or a knife to cut your cigar can jeopardise the quality as incorrect cutting can lead to the cigar unravelling. There are various cutters which you can use, to view our full selection of cutters we have available, please click here. There are many cut types which you can choose from, every option works equally the same however it is up to your personal preference. For cigar novices we recommend a guillotine straight cut.

We recommend using a cedar lined humidor to store your cigars for longevity. Cigars should be kept at a temperature between 18 and 22 degree celsius with a relative humidity between 65% and 75%. To view our entire range of relative humidity control and humidors please visit ouraccessories page.

For more information on storing your cigars correctly, please view ourCigar Storage Guidelines.

A ring gauge on a cigar indicates the diameter of the cigar. When measuring a cigar there is two commonly used dimensions being the ring gauge (diameter) and the length. These two measurements with then determine the estimated burn time of a cigar. Ring gauge is measured in 1/64th of an inch. If a cigar has a 52 ring gauge that means that the cigar diameter is 52/64 of an inch.
